November 1st is All Saints’ Day
Holy Day of Obligation Please remember that November 1st is All Saints’ Day, which is a Holy Day of Obligation. The Church teaches us that it is an important part of our faith to attend mass on such days in addition to attending mass on the Sunday before and the Sunday after. If our mass schedule does not work for you for some reason on that day, please consider attending mass at one of the other Catholic churches in our local area on that day. Many churches also offer a vigil mass on the evening beforehand as well.
A Mass of Consolation will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 4 PM for all those who have departed in the past year. If you have a family member who have passed, but was not buried by St. Eugene Church, please call the rectory (568-5102) with their name so they can be added to our list.
